Second free meningococcal jabs for Tas

A second free public meningococcal vaccination clinic will be opened for Tasmanians in a targeted area.

A second free public meningococcal vaccination clinic will be opened for more Tasmanians after an outbreak.

People in New Town, Moonah and Glenorchy remain the primary targets for coverage, but others who live, work, study, or spend significant periods of time in suburbs from Lenah Valley to Granton will also be eligible for this weekend's clinic at the Derwent Entertainment Centre.

There have been six cases of meningococcal in Tasmania, one killing a 16-year-old girl.
