Secret, the social media app for anonymously sharing secrets, is heading for Australia.
"Secret is coming soon to the UK, Ireland and Oz!" the company tweeted.
Created by two former Google engineers, the app lets friends and friends of friends share their deepest, darkest thoughts without attaching a name to it. Gossip, criticism, and plans to propose marriage are all common.
Along with similar anonymity apps such as Whisper and Yik Yak, Secret has been gaining popularity as users rebel against the diminishing privacy afforded by mainstream social media such as Facebook.
But they've also been criticised as enablers of cyberbulling and mishchief. In the US, one school was recently evacuated following bomb threats made via Yik Yak.
