Brisbane coach Anthony Seibold has accused his NRL players of letting their minds drift towards the representative round after being "embarrassed" in a 38-10 loss to Parramatta.
Seibold's side were smacked on Saturday night, conceding five tries in the first half.
Corey Oates, who starred for Queensland's series-opening State of Origin victory, was among the many Broncos' many stars to underperform.
It came after Brisbane's 26-18 loss to Gold Coast at Suncorp Stadium.
"The two weeks since Origin I we've been poor. That's the reality of it," Seibold said.
"Some of our guys will probably learn a lesson.
"We have 12 guys going into rep camps tomorrow. They've all got their bags packed down here.
"I reckon they had their heads in the rep camps already. That's the simple, hard facts of it.
"The players are disappointed, embarrassed ... we let the club down."
Seibold made it clear he wasn't talking exclusively about Origin players.
New Zealand's Jamayne Isaako, who missed a penalty goal at the end of the first half, and Tonga enforcer Tevita Pangai Junior are some of the Broncos who will also be in action next weekend.
Brisbane's next clash isn't until June 29, when they tackle the Knights in Newcastle.
"I think we've only got five travelling back to Brisbane," Seibold said.
"I won't get to see them now for another week or so, which is the challenging part of this year time of year.
"But every club is going through it."
The Broncos have suffered heavy losses to South Sydney, Sydney Roosters and the Eels in Sydney this season, with Seibold admitting that was another worrying trend.
"It's got to be an attitude thing," he said.
"That's down to individual preparation and challenging themselves mentally to get their job done. It's not good enough."
