Junior oil producer Senex Energy has posted sales revenue of $15.7 million in the June quarter, down six per cent from the prior three months amid struggles with lower volumes and weaker oil prices.
Senex sold 210,000 barrels of oil equivalent in the June quarter, compared to 240,000 in the three months to March, as a result of natural field decline.
The Brisbane-based company realised an average price of $71 a barrel, compared to $88 in the March quarter.
It achieved its full-year production guidance - with total output of 1.01 million boe - but forecast slightly lower volumes for FY17 of between 800,000 and one million boe.
