Australia's senior citizens will comprise almost 50 percent of voters in the upcoming election but many of them are feeling ignored by the major political parties.

Whether they're self funded retirees, pensioners, or still in the workforce; voter attitudes are shifting among older Australians.

Many are feeling the squeeze on a range of issues, from health services to low interest rates erroding their life's saving.
