Seven West Media appoints WA CEO

Seven West Media has appointed PR man John Driscoll as its new chief executive in Western Australia.

Seven West Media has appointed John Driscoll as its regional chief executive for Western Australia.

Mr Driscoll will join Seven from Perth communications agency Marketforce, where has been both chairman and chief executive, Seven said in a statement on Tuesday.

He will lead the development of Seven's businesses in WA including TVW7 Perth, The West Australian and perthnow.com.au among others, as well as overseeing Seven's major shareholding in the Community Newspaper Group.
