People in Western Australia's north are continuing to prepare for more dangerous weather, with a severe tropical cyclone likely to form over the weekend.
A blue alert is in place for people between Cape Leveque and De Grey in the Kimberley and Pilbara regions.
A cyclone warning is current for people between Cape Leveque and Pardoo Roadhouse, including the popular tourist town of Broome, which means the cyclone is expected to affect coastal communities within 24 hours.
The Bureau of Meteorology said a tropical cyclone was likely to form off the west Kimberley coast late on Friday or early on Saturday.
The system was likely to impact the east Pilbara or far west Kimberley coast as a category three tropical cyclone on Sunday.

Gales with gusts to 100km/h could develop in some coastal parts on Friday evening.
Very destructive winds with gusts in excess of 165km/h could develop from early Sunday as the system intensifies and approaches the east Pilbara or far west Kimberley coast.
People were warned to secure or remove loose material around homes and ensure emergency kits were ready.
Motorists were warned some road closures were in place, and they should not drive into water of unknown depth and current.
