Severe wind warning for SA's coast

South Australia's coastal areas are bracing for damaging winds, with possible gusts up to 100 kilometres per hour.

A strong cold front is set to cross South Australia's coast, with a severe weather warning being issued.

Gusts of 90-to-100 kilometres per hour are also possible in late Sunday afternoon, according to The Bureau of Meteorology.

Strong-to-damaging wind speeds averaging 50km/h are expected to hit coastal areas, from the Adelaide Hills towards the Victorian border on Sunday evening.
