After the Sydney Roosters back three smashed a 21-year NRL record last week, Cronulla are on high alert for James Tedesco, Blake Ferguson and Daniel Tupou.
The Roosters trio all ran for 200 metres during last week's minor premiership-clinching victory over Parramatta - a feat no starting fullback and his wingers have achieved in the same game since Fox Sports Stats began keeping records in 1998.
Tedesco (238m), Tupou (215m) and Ferguson (283m) combined for a massive 736m - also a cumulative record for a back three in a match.
And watching Trent Robinson's danger men tear open the Eels has made the Sharks sit up and take notice heading into Saturday's qualifying final at Allianz Stadium.
The kick-start to the Roosters sets which Ferguson and Tedesco have given their side have been the backbone of their success this year.

They sit No.1 and No.2 in the competition for metres made - with Ferguson averaging 190m per game and Tedesco 179m
Sharks coach Shane Flanagan said they would need to be diligent in every aspect, not just kicking long and turning them around, but also in their field position and game management.
"It goes a step before (kicking), it's where we finish on tackle five," Flanagan said.
"If we can finish in good field position, we can execute with a good kick.
"But if we come out of our red zone, inside the 40 zone, their back three are back catching the football and it's a big job to control those three."
Saturday's game will be headlined by a mouth-watering head-to-head battle between Tedesco and Valentine Holmes - arguably the two form players of the competition.
Over the last four weeks, the pair have been in the top eight for try assists, linebreak assists, linebreaks and run metres.
"I'm not looking forward to watching Tedesco," Flanagan said.
"Hopefully he's quiet and I'm looking forward to a really big game from Valentine Holmes.
"(Tedesco) is a quality player, he touches the ball a lot for a fullback, he's in and around the play and he offloads, he's chasing kicks.
"We need to do a real good job right across the board. Our front line and or back line, that's for sure."
