Bill Shorten is lifting the pace of his campaigning as the July 2 polling date nears.
The opposition leader is in Townsville on Saturday after hitting Darwin and Cairns on Friday.
"This campaign began as a marathon, it is now a sprint to the finish," Mr Shorten told AAP.
While in Townsville, Mr Shorten will release his "positive plans" for Queensland, which include a series of infrastructure projects to create jobs and lift the standard of living for the state.
He will also announce his 'made in Australia' initiative to promote local goods abroad, while supporting Australian-made steel for infrastructure projects at home.
Mr Shorten will be in Brisbane on Sunday for a second campaign launch, a week after a similar event in western Sydney.
Labor says the launch will double as a "save Medicare rally".
It will also clash with the Liberal campaign launch in Sydney.
