The mother and uncle of a young Hobart woman who was shot during the Paris terror attacks have arrived in the French capital to be with her.

Emma Parkinson, 19, was shot in the hip on Friday night as terrorist gunmen attacked the Bataclan concert hall, killing 89 people.

She is recovering well in a Paris hospital.

Her mother Lisa and uncle Michael flew into Charles de Gaulle Airport on Monday afternoon to be met by an Australian embassy staffer and taken to see Emma.

Her uncle told journalists he was "not happy to be here" and they'd make a further statement to the media "once we've had a chat to Emma".
