Maroons great Petero Civoniceva has urged State of Origin selectors to show faith in North Queensland's forwards despite their below-par form this season.
Queensland is certain to roll out a new-look pack for the series opener on June 6 with incumbent trio Josh McGuire (ankle), Matt Gillett (neck) and Tim Glasby (broken thumb) all set to miss out due to injury.
However, Civoniceva said despite the Cowboys' horrific form, there should still be a place in the team for Coen Hess, Gavin Cooper and veteran front-rower Matt Scott.
