A four-try haul to speedster Taleena Simon has cannoned the Sydney Roosters into the NRLW grand final following their 26-0 thrashing of St George Illawarra.

The Roosters came from last spot to leapfrog into second and book a date with Brisbane in next week's inaugural women's competition decider.

The Tri-Colours went into the final round without a win but jumped over the top of the Warriors and Dragons due to their superior for-and-against.

Roosters winger Simon ran riot on Saturday, taking advantage of lacklustre defence on the Dragons' right edge and punishing a couple of Honey Hireme blunders in front of 15,577 at Allianz Stadium.

Having been defeated 14-4 by the unbeaten Broncos last weekend, the Roosters will head into the final as massive underdogs.

However, that hasn't dented coach Adam Hartigan's confidence.

"We played here last week. They were good, they're undefeated," Hartigan said.

"Anything can happen but I think the expectation is that they'll go through undefeated. They'll know we'll be there to stop them."

Roosters winger Simon notched her double inside nine minutes when she twice took advantage of a massive overlap.

And when Dragons fullback Hireme, who was filling in for injured skipper Sam Bremner, made a mess of a regulation kick return, Simon pounced to grab her third in the 11th minute.

She gave her side a 12-0 advantage at halftime and put the Dragons to the sword when she grabbed her fourth try six minutes after the resumption.

Simon finished with 132m, six tackle busts and three linebreaks, while her centre partner Isabelle Kelly ran for 144m.

Hartigan rolled the dice by dropping NSW playmaker Maddie Studdon for the clash after his side struggled for points in their opening two clashes.

His decision to move Zahara Temara from lock to halfback also proved inspired as she chipped deftly for Brydie Parker's four-pointer and her kicking game was on song all night.
