Sirtex Medical appoints Americas CEO

Kevin Richardson, Sirtex's general manager and vice president for North America for the past six years, has been made the company's CEO for the Americas.

Cancer treatment developer Sirtex Medical has appointed Kevin Richardson as its chief executive for the Americas.

Mr Richardson, who'll take up the new role on July 1, has been Sirtex's general manager and vice president for North America for the past six years.

"The Americas will continue to be a very important growth region for Sirtex Medical moving forward," Sirtex chief executive Gilman Wong said in a statement.
