As the sun begins to set in Central Queensland, Judy Anne Cook gets ready to put on a show. Not just any show. A buffalo rodeo. For first-time viewers, it's like nothing they've ever seen before.
The show is a family affair, beginning when Judy Anne and her sisters trained buffalos on the set of a Hollywood movie a decade ago.
When the film ended, the women had formed such a strong bond with the buffalos, they bought most of them, and trained two to perform stunts and tricks.
The act is still a family affair.
"We just love the thought of the novelty of it and that it hadn't been done before," says Cook.

"Everyone just loves joining in and having fun... my eldest brother and his six children, his wife, they have come along and they are joining in for the show tonight as well."
