It's believed the bodies are those of Cory Breton, 28, and Iuliana Triscaru, 31, from the Logan area.

The pair haven't been seen since January 24 and the reported discovery comes just hours after detectives charged five men and one woman with murder in relation to their disappearance

Police have charged a group of six people with murder following the disappearance of the southeast Queensland man and woman last month

Police have established crime scenes at two locations in the suburb of Kingston and have been searching nearby waterways and bushland.

The bodies were reportedly found in a dam behind Mudgee St at Kingston but police are yet to confirm the discovery.

The six people charged with the murder of Mr Breton and Ms Triscaru briefly appeared in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Thursday morning.

Police will provide an update on the homicide investigation at a press conference later on Thursday morning

Three people were arrested on Wednesday evening in a dramatic roadside stop on the Gateway Motorway near the Brisbane suburb of Mt Gravatt.

The group of five men and one woman, whose ages range from 21 to 36, are all facing two counts of murder.

One of the men, a 21-year-old from Slacks Creek, has also been charged with one count of possessing a dangerous drug.

The accused are all set to face Brisbane Magistrates Court later on Thursday.

Police are also expected to continue their search of waterways and bushland at the Mudgee Street location.
