Emergency crews are searching for four adults and two children after they failed to return from a canyoning trip in the New South Wales Blue Mountains.
The two men, two women and two teenage boys set out for a trip to the Wollangambe Canyon in the Blue Mountains National Park at 7.30am on Tuesday, police say.
A concerned relative called police when they failed to return as scheduled on Tuesday afternoon.
Police said they had searched the area in a helicopter and on foot on Wednesday, but were yet to find anything.
A spokesman said police have set up a command centre at the Mount Wilson Rural Fire Service station.
