Six-year-old boy missing in Qld dam

Emergency services are searching for a six-year-old boy who hasn't been seen since falling into a dam near Toowoomba in southeastern Queensland.

A six-year-old boy has gone missing after slipping into a southeastern Queensland dam, sparking a search by emergency services.

Police say the boy is believed to have fallen into a dam on a property near Toowoomba on Tuesday afternoon.

Family members searched for the young boy but weren't able to find him.

Further information is being sought from police.
