The Sydney Sixers are well on track to defend their WBBL title after securing top spot with a comprehensive seven-wicket triumph over the Adelaide Strikers.
For the second time in as many days, the Sixers trumped the Strikers, largely through the efforts of comeback queen Sarah Coyte with the ball and Alyssa Healy with the bat, to stroll to victory with 11 balls remaining.
Fresh off a blazing 106 on Saturday, national wicketkeeper Healy thumped 63 before departing with the finish line in sight, piloting the Sixers' 3-112 chase.
Captain Ellyse Perry became the only WBBL batter to reach the 500-run mark this summer before holing out for 13.
But Healy continued on her merry way, belting the Adelaide attack to all corners of Hurstville Oval.
Earlier, Coyte snared 3-18 off her four overs, including the key scalp of Strikers top-scorer Tammy Beaumont (28).
Coyte's tight bowling was pivotal in restricting the Strikers to just 9-111 off their 20 overs, which was never going to be enough given Healy's ravenous late-season form.
In her two games back since coming out of retirement, Coyte has put together the remarkable figures of 5-32 off eight overs.
She now looms as the key bowler for the Sixers who enter the semi-finals with five consecutive wins under their belt.
The Strikers, with three losses from their last four games, slipped to fourth position with an 8-6 record after a weekend that didn't go their way - but they are still in the hunt and into their first-ever finals campaign courtesy of Brisbane Heat's loss to the Sydney Thunder.
They will need to lift though when they tackle the top-of-the-table Sixers for the third successive time in this Friday's semi-final at Adelaide Oval.
