Sydney Sixers skipper Ellyse Perry is confident the momentum of her side's barnstorming winning run can carry them to the inaugural Women's Big Bash League title.

Sixers face Thunder at the MCG on Sunday afternoon in an all-Sydney clash that is a curtain raiser for the evening's BBL final between Melbourne Stars and Mike Hussey's Thunder.

The women's Thunder team finished on top of the WBBL ladder but Perry's side have won their last nine games to storm into the series decider.
