Sixth person charged over Perth mob death

A teenager has become the sixth person to be charged over the murder of Patrick Slater, who died after a mob attack in January.

A 17-year-old is the sixth person charged in relation to the murder of Patrick Slater near Perth's Elizabeth Quay Station in late January.

Slater, 26, died after being attacked by a mob - allegedly including an 11-year-old boy, who has been charged - during a brawl outside the station in the early hours of January 27.

The 17-year-old has been charged with murder and he will appear in the Perth Children's Court on Saturday.
