Shares in skin care company BWX have soared 50 per cent in a stellar start to trading on the Australian share market.
BWX shares rose 76 cents, or 50.67 per cent, to $2.26, with about 9.5 million shares changing hands.
They opened at $2.12, up 41 per cent on the issue price of $1.50.
The increase in the share price gives BWX a market capitalisation of $205 million.
BWX owns, produces and distributes products under the Sukin, Derma Sukin, Uspa, Edward Beale and Renew Skincare brands.

"This premium is a great way to start as an ASX-listed company," BWX chief executive John Humble said on Wednesday.
"We look forward to engaging with our shareholders and financial markets as we continue to build our enterprise."
BWX raised $39 million in an initial public offer of shares that was oversubscribed.
The company plans to grow its business through range extensions, developing new brands, and acquisitions.
Its brands are produced in Melbourne.
The company said in its prospectus that the flagship Sukin brand was the number two selling skin care brand in Australian pharmacies for the 12 months to August 2015.
