NSW Health Minister Jillian Skinner will not be drawn on a chemotherapy bungle after a woman was misdiagnosed with stage-four liver cancer and treated with toxic levels of chemotherapy for six months.

Two doctors have been hauled before the state medical council after the woman was misdiagnosed following a CT scan and recommended for treatment without further testing, the NSW Health Care Complaints Commission said on Friday.

Ms Skinner has declined to answer questions about the scandal, which follows a gas mix-up that killed one baby and left another with brain damage, and the underdosing of more than 100 cancer patients.

She told to AAP on Saturday that the latest incident happened in the private system in 2013, and because of that she didn't have any further information.
