Drivers in the US state of Washington have been startled by a kangaroo hopping down a highway.
The marsupial nearly caused a couple of accidents before police arrived, keeping the kangaroo off the road as its owner tracked it down with help of friends.
Local television reports its owner lives in a part of the state where it's legal to own exotic pets - the man also has a zebra.
