Israeli police have arrested a young woman after anti-Semitic graffiti was painted in Arabic on a section of the Western Wall in Jerusalem.

‘Slaughter the Jews’ was found spray-painted on the religious site known as Kotel HaKatan, or “little Western Wall,” a section of the wall located in the Muslim Quarter of the city.
Israel First, a local broadcaster, reported that at least one person was arrested, and posted image of the offending graffiti.

It said the phrase was eventually covered over with red paint.

The Little Western Wall is spiritually significant to Jews because it is located near the The Holy of Holies, the most sacred site in Judaism.
