During the winter holiday in Krasnoyarsk, Huskies have turned into an object of adoration for both children and adults. The dogs sled children while their friends Samoyeds pose for the photo sessions.

There are too many people wishing to meet the dogs in the flora and fauna park "Roev Ruchey" of the Krasnoyarsk Zoo. The dogs are very smart. The people who control them must take into account their characteristics.

"They pretend that they do not understand the command or what you're talking about—to the left, to the right. And it’s completely useless to swear, because they may huddle up and become afraid of the team if you knock them or do something like that. So it is necessary to negotiate with them by food somehow," said Vyacheslav Barkalov, head of the department of touchable animals of the flora and fauna park "Roev Ruchey".

Regular negotiations are necessary, because for those huskies, running in harness is not an entertainment, but a serious job. They are frequent guests at Russian and international competitions.

Meanwhile, another kind of sled dog, Samoyed, is not only beautiful, but also friendly. They are happy to take a photo session, and the demand is huge. Before making a couple of shots, one would have to stand for a few weeks in the queue. In the zoo, Samoyeds' photo sessions alternate with training.

And in order to greet the Year of the Dog, the zoo has decided to present a dog as a gift.

"The special commission will firstly select candidates, then talk with them. The most important thing will be the voting on air, where the residents of the city of Krasnoyarsk will decide who to entrust to this beauty," said Andrey Gorban, director of the flora and fauna park "Roev Ruchey".
