Sloane out for Showdown in blow for Crows

Adelaide midfielder Rory Sloane is set to miss at least another fortnight of AFL action after re-injuring his troublesome right foot.

Adelaide have suffered a major injury blow in the lead-up to the AFL Showdown with Rory Sloane succumbing to a foot injury.

The star midfielder will miss Saturday's clash with Port Adelaide and is expected to remain sidelined for at least a fortnight, having re-injured his troublesome right foot at training.

Geelong star Gary Ablett and Richmond skipper Trent Cotchin are among the inclusions for the round while Greater Western Sydney have dropped key forward Jonathon Patton.
