Steve Smith made an unbeaten 55 but it wasn't enough to stop his Toronto Nationals from falling to tournament leaders West Indies B in the Global Twenty20 Canada.
Former Australian captain's second half-century of the competition, off 43 balls, included five boundaries and two sixes on Saturday.
Smith came in on the third over and almost immediately lost fellow opener Johnson Charles, but combined well with Anton Devcich (21) and Darren Sammy (23).
They made 5-128, but West Indies B ran that down in 14.1 overs, scoring 2-131.
Openers Justin Greaves and Sherfane Rutherford combined for 64 in less than six overs to take their fourth consecutive win.
West Indies B qualified for the playoffs, but Smith's Toronto Nationals lost a third straight match and remain on the bottom of the six-team table.
