AUSTRALIA v SOUTH AFRICA, DAY 2
* SCORE: South Africa 311, Australia 9-245
* MAN OF THE MOMENT: Nathan Lyon. Produced the highest score of his Test career, 47, when it looked like South Africa were going to claim a first-innings lead of at least 100.
* KEY MOMENT: David Warner's off stump cartwheels after being uprooted by a searing delivery from Kagiso Rabada. Warner had started his knock in ominous fashion, racing to 30 in 13 deliveries.
* STAT OF THE DAY: South Africa's Dean Elgar carried his bat for the third time in his Test career, equalling the record held by West Indies legend Desmond Haynes.
* SUMMARY: South Africa's lead is 66 runs. In a game that has ebbed and flowed it is hard to predict what will happen next but the hosts are in the box seat to go 2-1 up in the series, provided they avoid an early collapse on day three.
* QUOTE OF THE DAY: "It's been disgraceful. You're talking about abuse of various players and their families and personal abuse" - Australia coach DARREN LEHMANN didn't hold back when asked about some of the crowd's behaviour in Cape Town.
