Snapshot for day 3 of the second Test

A snapshot of day two of the second cricket Test between Australia and India in Bangalore.

AUSTRALIA V INDIA, 2ND TEST AT A GLANCE

STATE OF PLAY - India 4-213 at stumps on day three, leading Australia by 126 runs.

MAN OF DAY - Cheteshwar Pujara. Was dropped on three and four but went on to finish 79 not out, while his unbeaten 93-run stand with Ajinkya Rahane is already the highest partnership of the series.

KEY STAT - India have only won three Tests at home after conceding a first-innings deficit of 87 runs or more.

KEY MOMENT - Virat Kohli reviewed his lbw dismissal on 15, insisting he had edged Josh Hazlewood's delivery onto his pads. Umpire Richard Kettleborough agonised over every angle before ruling there was no "conclusive evidence" that it was bat before pad. Kohli fumed.

BEST QUOTE - "Temperatures are rising a little bit," HAZLEWOOD admits things have become heated between the sides after another day full of run-ins.
