Snapshot for day 4 of the second Test

A snapshot for day four of the second cricket Test between Australia and South Africa in Port Elizabeth.

AUSTRALIA v SOUTH AFRICA, DAY 4

* SCORE: Australia 243 and 239, South Africa 382 and 4-102

* MAN OF THE MOMENT: Kagiso Rabada. The express paceman claimed match figures of 11-150, adding the scalps of Mitch Marsh, Pat Cummins and Mitchell Starc to a long list that includes Australia's two best batsmen Steve Smith and David Warner.

* KEY MOMENT: Everything was going to have to go right for Australia if they were to somehow defend a 100-run lead. It didn't. Injured allrounder Mitch Marsh shelled a simple slips catch when South Africa were 0-7 in the second over of the run chase.

* STAT OF THE DAY: Only one South African has enjoyed a more prolific Test against Australia than Rabada. Offspinner Hugh Tayfield snared 13-165 at the MCG in 1956.

* SUMMARY: The series is level at 1-1, thanks largely to Rabada's magnificent bowling and AB de Villiers' spectacular batting. The behaviour of both sides will remain a talking point after the hosts' six-wicket win, especially repeat offender Rabada.

* QUOTE OF THE DAY: "I can't keep doing this because I'm letting the team down and also letting myself down." - RABADA acknowledges he must learn how to harness the eruptions of emotion that follow some wickets.
