Snapshot for day three of the first Test

A snapshot for day three of the first Test between Australia and Pakistan at Dubai's International Cricket Stadium.

AUSTRALIA V PAKISTAN, 1ST TEST AT A GLANCE

STATE OF PLAY - Pakistan (482 and 3-45) leading Australia (202) by 325 runs at stumps on day three at Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

MAN OF THE DAY - Bilal Asif. The Pakistan offspinner snared 6-36 on debut at age 33 and was the catalyst behind Australia's calamitous batting collapse. Wreaked havoc with his height and ability to generate bounce on a flat pitch.

KEY STAT - The 142-run stand between Test debutant Aaron Finch and Usman Khawaja was Australia's second-highest opening partnership in Asia.

KEY MOMENT - Finch and Khawaja had both looked well-set and on track for centuries after seeing through the opening session. But Finch's dismissal at the hands of paceman Mohammad Abbas after lunch sparked a collapse in which Australia lost 10 wickets for just 60 runs.
