STAT OF THE DAY: Roger Federer's 6-2 7-5 6-2 victory over Taylor Fritz was the Swiss marvel's 17th in a row at Melbourne Park and propelled the 37-year-old two-time defending champion into the fourth round for the 17th time in his past 18 attempts.
