Snapshot of Wallabies' win over Uruguay

Australia thrashed Uruguay 65-3, with their backline starting to click - but some rustiness still on show ahead of their crucial showdown with England.

Result: Australia 65-3 Uruguay

What it means: The Wallabies remain undefeated and move to the top of Pool A on points differential ahead of Wales - with both nations on nine points with two wins and one four-try bonus point.

Key moment: In the 52nd minute, Drew Mitchell crossed out wide from a Quade Cooper cut-out pass. What differentiates it from the other 10 tries scored was that it elevated Mitchell to 12 World Cup tries - allowing him to overtake Chris Latham as the most prolific Wallaby in the tournament.

Wallabies best: Sean McMahon. Absolutely ferocious with ball in hand and looked a nightmare for the Uruguayans to deal with at the breakdown - and finished with two tries. Sadly, as he sits behind two of the premier No.7s in world rugby in David Pocock and Michael Hooper, it could easily be his last involvement at the tournament.

Quote of the day: "No team have won the World Cup unless they have won every game. That's what you've got to do," Michael Cheika sets down the Wallabies' plan for the next five weeks.

What's next? England awaits for Australia in an enormous clash at Twickenham. A Wallabies victory would eliminate England from the tournament - and assure Cheika's men a path to the quarter-finals. A loss would leave the Wallabies in a very precarious position.
