Snow predicted to fall across Tasmania

Weather warnings have been issued ahead of forecast low-level snow fall across most parts of Tasmania.

Snow is expected to close roads across Tasmania as temperatures take a dive on Saturday.

The Bureau of Meteorology has issued a road weather alert taking in most parts of the state with snow due to fall down to 200 metres above sea level.

Southern centres including Hobart are due to reach a maximum of just 8C with strong westerly winds also forecast.
