Socceroos fan, Pablo Bateson has travelled the world to watch the Australian team play.

On November 15, he will attend his 41st consecutive World Cup Qualifier when Australia takes on Thailand in Bangkok.

Though, with the country in a period of mourning following the death of King Bhumibol Adulyadej, supporters will have to follow a list of regulations requested by the Sports Authority of Thailand.

Fans have been told there will be no chanting, banners or flags allowed in the stadium.

“Well they’re not saying we can’t chant but I think it has to be respectful,” Bateson said.

“Sure, if and when we score a goal, we are going to react, we are going to cheer.”

It's a situation manager Ange Postecoglou hasn't faced before.

"In the early days I coached plenty of games with not much of a crowd," he joked.

"We have to be respectful we can't be just cause we don't understand something we dismiss it."

Fans like Bateson, are being advised to wear white, grey or black coloured clothing.

He will be sporting the Socceroos away jersey with a black armband.

“These are guidelines and I think most fans know that we’ve got to respect the essence of what’s being requested.”
