South Africa name squad for Aust Tests

South Africa have named their squad for the three-Test cricket tour of Australia which starts in Perth next month.

Uncapped spinners Tabraiz Shamsi and Keshav Maharaj have both been named in South Africa's squad for the three-Test cricket tour of Australia starting in Perth next month.

Morne Morkel has also been named after he missed the Proteas' most recent Test series against New Zealand due to injury but his position is subject to successfully completing a domestic first class match starting in Port Elizabeth on Tuesday.

South Africa: Faf du Plessis (capt), Kyle Abbott, Hashim Amla, Temba Bavuma, Stephen Cook, Quinton de Kock, JP Duminy, Dean Elgar, Keshav Maharaj, Morne Morkel, Vernon Philander, Kagiso Rabada, Rilee Rossouw, Tabraiz Shamsi, Dale Steyn, Dane Vilas.
