South Africa train crash: 80 people injured

Two trains have crashed head on in South Africa's eastern coastal city of Durban, injuring about 80 people.

Two trains have crashed into each other in South Africa's eastern coastal city of Durban, injuring about 80 people.

"There was a train collision in Berea, Durban. The two trains collided and there are about 80 people who are injured. No fatalities have been reported so far," rescue service spokeswoman Luyanda Majija said on Tuesday.

Another official, Russel Meiring, said the crash by two Metrorail trains was head-on, and that none of the injuries were critical.
