A South Carolina policeman has been banned from working in school after a violent attack on a female student.

Deputy Ben Fields exploded into a rage after ordering the Spring Valley High School student out of her chair, with no time to respond she was thrown around the room.
The video shows other students watching on as the officer wrestles the girl to the floor.

Amazingly she escaped serious injury.

The New York Daily News reported the girl had refused to leave class and that students said the officer had a history of violence.

The Richland County Sheriff's office is investigating the incident, they reported.
