They're the most lethal left side in the NRL and they have South Sydney poised for a shock premiership push.
After 14 rounds, the Rabbitohs' left flank of skipper Greg Inglis, rejuvenated veteran John Sutton, Cody Walker and Robert Jennings has proven itself the most-dangerous edge combination in the competition.
Collectively, they've created and scored 29 tries - more than any other team edge, according to Fox Sports Stats.
With the Rabbitohs in third spot, there's no doubt coach Anthony Seibold has transformed them this year into the real deal.
Sutton has wound back the clock and, at 33, has found career-best form while Inglis is as devastating as ever despite missing almost all of last year with a knee injury.
So what's the secret behind their left side transforming itself into the most menacing in the competition?
"Seibs and (assistant coach) Dave Furner, he does a lot of our attack, they give us a lot of leeway, they let us do what we want to do," Sutton said.
"We just have to make sure it works.
"Cody is a big part of what we've been doing."
Sutton was again coy on his future as weighed up his desire to play on next year and whether he could continue performing beyond his 34th birthday.
Jennings has excelled this year, crossing for eight tries, the equal most for his club.
It's also more than his brothers, Parramatta pair George (five) and Michael (four), who he will come up against directly in Thursday's clash with the Eels.
"Just lots of reps in training," Jennings said when asked about the secret of their left edge.
"We're big on attack and we've been working a lot on that left edge as well.
"Everyone has gelled and it's shown on the field. We're just improving as well.
"Having Greggy back this week, that's a big bonus as well."
