If Robbie Farah is headed to Redfern, South Sydney NRL hooker Cameron McInnes wants to know now.
The never-ending Farah saga has taken a significant twist in recent weeks, with the NSW State of Origin No.9 strongly rumoured to be joining the Rabbitohs.
But McInnes, recently dropped following the Rabbitohs' nine-game losing streak, said he'd received no confirmation from the club as he looked to get his future in order.
"If something was happening - which I don't know if it is or not - I would want to know right now," McInnes said on Friday.
"I could ask the question and I haven't yet. I respect that they will come to me and say what's happening.

"As an organisation, I believe it's up to them to come to me and say what's happening."
Farah's brother Eddie works at the club as a physiotherapist, while Souths assistant coach Matt King last week said he expected the out-of-favour Wests Tigers' hooker to join the club.
McInnes is contracted until the end of next season and both coach Michael Maguire and football manager Shane Richardson have approached the 22-year-old in recent weeks to check on his welfare following the widely reported rumours.
And McInnes insists the club have told him he is wanted there next season, despite reports he is free to look elsewhere.
"It hasn't been said to me or my manager yet (that he's free to shop around another club). He (Maguire) would obviously let me know," he said.
"All said to me is 'we want you at the club' and that's all he needs to say to me.
"As long as I'm wanted here, that's all that matters."
McInnes also said reports linking him to St George Illawarra were also just rumours, a club he had all but signed with last season until Issac Luke announced he was leaving the Rabbitohs for the Warriors.
Compounding the Dragons' speculation even more is the fact frontline hooker Mitch Rein remains off contract at the club.
"I can understand why rumours happen but nothing has been said to me or anything like that," McInnes said.
"We'll obviously know by the end of the year so I'm sure things will start to happen then."
Damien Cook, who replaced McInnes in the Rabbitohs' No.9 jersey two weeks ago, welcomed the challenge of having Farah arrive at the club next year.
"There are little battles within our squad for positions and that's only going to help me improve my game and be at my best," Cook said.
