Recalled spinners Steve O'Keefe and Ashton Agar would love another SCG wicket for the third Test against Pakistan like the one they starred on for opposing sides earlier this season
Both left arm orthodox spinners were added to the Australian squad for the final Test starting on Tuesday.
The potential extra support for Nathan Lyon came as no surprise, given the SCG has this season looked more like the spinner-friendly place it was back in the 1980s and 90s.
O'Keefe and Agar both prospered in the opening Shield game of the season when their sides clashed at the SCG.
West Australian bowler Agar recorded both his best first-class innings figures (6-110 ) and match figures (10-141).

O'Keefe, whose NSW team won the game, finished with 8-106 for the match, including a first innings haul of 5-65.
"The games we (NSW) have played in the past this year, have shown the wicket can slow up and spin and can do it from day one," O'Keefe said.
"So I think two spinners will certainly be an option and maybe three, depending on what the conditions are out there."
Agar was looking looking forward to the possibility of ending his three-year plus absence from Test cricket at a venue where he enjoyed recent success.
"I definitely take a bit of confidence out of that, it was nice to do that earlier in the year." Agar said.
"The wicket really did turn in that game, so what the wicket is going to be like this game I'm not 100 per cent sure,
"But if the wicket is like that again, and I get my chance I'll try and do the same thing.'
Both men were excited to be joining a team coming off the high of an extraordinary win in Melbourne.
O'Keefe gave a lot of credit to his NSW spin colleague Lyon, who smashed through the middle order on the final day, claiming three vital wickets.
"He doesn't pick up those three wickets it can probably be a flat period in the match and then it's called off," O'Keefe said.
"The wicket still wasn't doing too much and he was able to crack the game open.
."I think when you get to see him on a wicket that will get a bit of assistance like the SCG, I'm sure you'll see him take a bagful."
