Spy row rocks Australia-Indonesia relations

Indonesia recalls its ambassador to Australia amid fury in Jakarta over fresh spying allegations.

The Indonesian government has demanded a full explanation after revelations that Australian spies targeted the mobile phones of the country's president and other senior government figures.

President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono has ordered his own security agency to investigate the revelations and the position of the Australian ambassador and diplomatic staff in Jakarta will also be reviewed.
