Sri Lanka struggle against West Indies

The West Indies are well on top against Sri Lanka, in the Carribean's first ever day-night Test match.

The West Indies pace trio of Shannon Gabriel, Kemar Roach and Jason Holder have helped restrict Sri Lanka to 5-99 after the second day of the third Test in the Caribbean.

The trio shared all five wickets on a rain-hit day in which only 59 overs were bowled.

Holder led the West Indian batsmen with 74 in its first innings, in which the home side scored 204 all out.

Sri Lanka, which is 105 runs behind, had Niroshan Dickwella on 13 at the close and Roshen Silva three not out.

Danushka Gunathilaka scored 29 to lead the Sri Lanka batsmen before being trapped lbw by Holder.

Sri Lanka is playing without suspended captain Dinesh Chandimal, who lost his appeal over a ball-tampering charge from the second Test in St Lucia.

The match is the historic first ever day-night Test in the West Indies.

The West Indies lead the series 1-0 after winning the first Test by 226 runs at Port of Spain.
