Warning: This story contains details of child sexual abuse that some readers may find disturbing

The former St Kevin's College student who was abused at the school has criticised Andrew Bolt and Gerard Henderson after they discussed the crime on Sky News.

On Tuesday, Mr Bolt appeared to defend convicted child sex offender Peter Kehoe, who groomed Mr Street at the elite Melbourne college, saying "[he] hit on a boy, no sex occurred".

Mr Henderson said it was "not at all" terrible that outgoing headmaster Stephen Russell supported Mr Kehoe after the conviction.
On Thursday, Mr Street said he was shocked at how the crime was "trivialised" by the pair.

"To listen to you say that no sex occurred is actually beyond relevant information of the crime itself," he said.

"If you displayed any sympathy towards me, you wouldn't be minimising what was inflicted upon me ... I was invited to jump into a 59-year-old's bed. I was invited to lick the pre-cum off that same 59-year-old's penis.

"For your own knowledge, it clearly needs enhancement, please refer to the relevant legislation of what grooming actually is."
Mr Paris featured on the ABC Four Corners episode on Monday about how child sex abuse was handled at St Kevin's.

He also used the post to fact check a number of incorrect claims made by Mr Bolt and Mr Henderson about the episode.

"Gerard Henderson and Andrew Bolt, how would you feel if someone acted the way Peter Kehoe did towards me, towards children of your own? Would your comments be any different?" he said.

"Reflect on the comments you have made and never make them again in the future. They make me sick."

The fallout from the episode continued on Thursday, as deputy head Janet Canny was stood down following allegations she responded inappropriately to a teacher's complaints about child-grooming allegations.

The decision followed the resignation of Mr Russell on Wednesday and the standing down of dean of sport Luke Travers.

Edmund Rice Education Australia (EREA) said St Patrick's College Ballarat principal John Crowley will take over as headmaster on Friday until the end of the school year.

In a second statement on Thursday, EREA also announced that James Daly would be the acting deputy head at St Kevin's.
