Stanford twins remain in custody

The man accused of murdering Stephanie Scott, and his twin who's accused of being an accessory after the fact, have had their cases adjourned to November.

Twins charged over the murder of NSW teacher Stephanie Scott will remain in custody after briefly appearing in a Riverina court.

Vincent Stanford, 24, is accused of sexually assaulting and murdering the bride-to-be on April 5 in the NSW country town of Leeton.

His twin, Marcus, has been charged with being an accessory after the fact, after Vincent allegedly sent him items belonging to Ms Scott after her death.

The men appeared briefly at Griffith Local Court on Wednesday where their matters were adjourned until November 25.

Neither applied for bail and it was formally refused.
