Star jockey Katsidis found dead

Champion Queensland jockey Stathi Katsidis has been found dead.

His body has been discovered at his Hendra home on Brisbane's northside by his partner Melissa Jackson.

The cause of death is unknown but police believe there are no suspicious circumstances.

The 31-year-old Katsidis was due to ride AJC Australian Derby winner Shoot Out in Saturday's Cox Plate at Moonee Valley and next month's Melbourne Cup at Flemington.
