Former head of Australia's Grand Prix Ron Walker will be farewelled at a state funeral in Melbourne.
Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews announced on Friday afternoon the service for Mr Walker would be held on Wednesday at St Paul's Cathedral.
"He was a giant of Victoria and indeed Australia, both in stature and in the contribution that he made over many years in business and public life in setting us up to be the major events and sporting capital of our nation," Mr Andrews told reporters after Mr Walker's death on Tuesday.
