Australia skipper Steve Smith has been named the International Cricket Council's cricketer of the year in 2015.

Steve Smith has been named the International Cricket Council's cricketer of the year.

The ICC announced on Wednesday that Smith was the winner of the coveted Sir Garfield Sobers trophy in 2015.

Smith was also crowned Test player of the year.
