Greater Western Sydney gun Steve Johnson could miss his second AFL final in five seasons because of suspension.
Bruising blows dished out by the 275-game veteran and ruckman Shane Mumford in the first half of Saturday's qualifying final are likely to be scrutinised by the match review panel.
Its rulings on Monday are one of few concerns for GWS coach Leon Cameron following a 36-point win over Sydney at ANZ Stadium.
Johnson, who missed a 2012 elimination final because of a one-match ban, clattered Josh Kennedy with a shirtfront that left the Swans on-baller dazed and requiring a concussion test.
GWS coach Leon Cameron pointed out Kennedy returned and played out the game when asked about the incident.
"He's obviously passed his concussion test," he said.
"Until I have a look at the vision it's hard to comment but he did come back on and play the last two and a half quarters.
"I thought the game was played in the right spirit and when there was a contest we hit hard. I thought our boys did it well and so did the Swans."
Swans coach John Longmire was likewise reluctant to discuss the incident.
"There wasn't a freekick so there mustn't have been anything in it," he deadpanned.
"I don't know, there wasn't a freekick paid."
Kurt Tippett also required a concussion test after being inadvertently felled in an early ruck contest.
Tippett returned, only for Mumford to rattle him with a sling tackle.
It was a game full of spot fires but Cameron denied asking his players to physically impose themselves on the contest.
"I've always said to our boys - play it as you see it," he said. "We tackled really well.
"We know that the Swans are a really tough tackling side. We knew that it was going to be on and it was.
"We thought there's only one way and that's to hit head on. We can't shy away from it."
